Strawberry and Cream Cupcakes

This is a ridiculously simple recipe with a few ingredients, and is perfect when you are running out of time and need to produce something impressive in a short amount of time. One of the best things to do here would be to use strawberry soda instead of water while making the cake batter with the packaged mixture.

How to Make Strawberry and Cream Cupcakes with Betty Crocker

To make the strawberry cupcakes, you would need 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® white cake mix, and you would be mixing it with 1 1/4 cups strawberry-flavored soda pop instead of water. You can very easily make soda pop at home by mixing strawberry syrup and water and then putting it in a whipped cream dispenser charged with one carbon charger. Add the vegetable oil and egg whites according to the package directions. Using a scoop, pour the batter into cupcake liners and bake at 350 Degree Fahrenheit for 15-21 minutes, or until done.

Meanwhile mix a couple of drops of red food coloring to ½ cup of white sprinkles in a plastic bag, and mix thoroughly till the sprinkles are all pink. Take 1 can of Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy® cream cheese frosting and frost the cupcakes with an offset spatula or a butter knife, making patterns if you want. Then, decorate with fresh strawberries and sprinkles.
