As the webadress is the loginpage for the blog, how can I overcome this issue?

thanks
Plus addressing • Fenman • Sat, Mar 03 at 05:38 AM View comments (1)
I was trying to set up some e-mail addresses in Feedwhip so that e-mails could be sent directly to specific folders. These e-mails take the form of:

name+folder@domain.com

Feedwhip will not allow e-mail addresses with the character '+' in them and says they are invalid. They are not.

Is there any chance of changing to plus addressing to occur? Thanks
Premium User Account and multiple emails • pdanson @ deloitte . co . uk • Mon, Feb 19 at 12:17 PM View comments (1)
Hi,
I have just opened a premium user account and tried to add more emails addresses to notify of Feed updates, but when I put the Access Code that is sent to the email address into the Verfication field it says that I am already Verified.

Do I have to register each of the new email addresses as if they were users?

Netvibes and Feedwhip • pcl @ lecridelasouris . com • Wed, Jan 31 at 05:38 AM View comments (4)
Hi,

I love feedwhip but for some reason I can't manage to make it work along with netvibes.com.
None of my twentysome feeds when checked with netvibes gives me something else than "empty feed" although they work perfectly well with any other feed reader. Any other feed updates without any problem in netvibes... Thought you might want to know.

Edit [31/01/07]
I asked Netvibes.com about this problem and was answered to try validating my feeds with http://validator.w3.org/feed/
Well... they did not validate :(
Advertising tools for Feedwhip • Laura Chisholm • Mon, Jan 29 at 04:18 PM View comments (1)
Greetings from Philly, Steve!

We are still updating our little website (and actually started hosting a friend's blog as well!) and wanted to get our friends and family to start using Feedwhip. Right now, we do the ol' send-um-an-email-when-we-posted-somethin'-new trick. But that gets old and I just want to include a nice link on the site so that people can sign up for Feedwhip on their own.

Is it possible for you to put some html code on your site, which I could cut and paste onto our site, for a sort of advertisement for Feedwhip? Thanks!

(Give your girls some hugs from Joshua and me.)

Account Settings • twofortwo @ gmail . com • Sat, Jan 20 at 03:35 PM No comments
I've found that you can't change the settings to "Tell me about all text changes", it keeps switching back to "Ignore small, one-line text changes" and anything I check or uncheck below it is also unset afterwards...

This is in account settings...

BUT... I CAN changes the setting for each individual feed with that dropdown menu that pops up (although the checkmarks are buggy/slow to respond when you want to change them back)

Email Notification format options? • Patrick • Mon, Dec 11 at 04:24 PM View comments (1)
Hey, great service. I thought I'd like to use it to email my cellphone when there are updates to my feed, but the first 120 characters or so of the notification email are all title... CSS, etc. Could you add an option for "SMS-friendly email" that lets you choose which XML elements you want to email? I could see something like:

Select the components of the XML feed that you'd like to send in your email:

[ ] feed title
[ ] title
[ ] link
[ ] url

Choose the email format you would like to receive:

[ ] HTML (default)
[ ] text-only

Ignore Robots • Paul H • Mon, Dec 11 at 01:40 AM View comments (1)
I currently use an on-line service to monitor changes on my competitor's sites and send me an e-mail when they have changed.

I hate getting the filled up e-mail box and would rather use RSS to see when thes pages change. So I tried feedwhip, but found that many of the sites I am intersted in prohibit robots from viewing their sites.

Could you make an option to ignore this block so I can use your very nice tool? I don't mind if it only checks very infrequently for these sites which don't allow robots.

Regards,

Paul

I could swear I saw some kind of help page discussing wild cards that could be used with filters. Was I having a Senior Moment? If not, please let me know before I become a
valetudinarian.
Thanks folks!
